Yalu

Updated November 2026

What's built, what's coming, and what isn't ready.

Most product roadmaps are marketing. This one exists so nobody buys Yalu expecting something it can't do yet. Only the first column is available today — everything under In build and Explored is exactly that.

In build

Being built now.

Actively being worked on. Not available yet.

Trade rates and quotes in Mithu

Today approved partners get their rate card as a PDF and Mithu checks availability without prices. Next, Mithu quotes each partner's own tier, with the arithmetic done in code and the partner re-checked on every call.

In build

Many properties on one deployment

Today each hotel gets its own isolated instance, which is secure but doesn't scale to a group. Proper multi-property tenancy lets one login run several properties with clean separation.

In build

Richer room content

The assistant reads your room names live; descriptions, amenities and photos still come from the knowledge base. We're widening that feed so it stays current on its own.

In build

WhatsApp setup without us

WhatsApp works today but we connect it for you. A self-service settings screen is coming.

In build

Public App Store and Play Store release

The staff app is on TestFlight for invited teams. A public release, including Android, follows once multi-property tenancy lands.

Explored, not committed

Directions we think are right.

Things we think are right. No dates, and no promises.

Guests changing their own booking in the chat

Yalu holds and Kalu books today. Letting a guest move dates or cancel a confirmed stay themselves, in conversation, is the natural next step.

A partner account for agents

Their bookings, commission statements, and group or series requests in the trade portal — with Kalu seeing partner activity alongside guests.

Looking after the guest during the stay

Everything today stops at the booking. The natural next chapter is the stay itself — checking in with a guest while they're with you, catching a problem early enough to fix it, and suggesting the walk or the night drive that actually suits them. The PMS connection is in place; it needs real memory of a guest first.

Long-term memory across conversations

Today the assistant remembers a handful of explicit facts about a returning guest. Genuine recall of past stays needs a retrieval layer we haven't built.

A voice channel

Phone calls answered by the same brain. Nothing exists yet.

Group-level reporting

One view across a portfolio of properties, once multi-property tenancy is in place.

No dates against anything in this last column — on purpose. We'd rather show you what we're thinking than commit to a quarter we can't hold. If one of these is the thing that decides it for you, say so on the demo call and we'll tell you honestly where it sits.

See it answer a question about your hotel.

Thirty minutes. We'll load a little of your own content in first, so you're watching it handle your property — not a demo script.
